• How Do I tell the shipping Charges?
  For regular sized items, you can conveniently get a quote by using our automated rate quote generator. For all other items, complete and submit our shipping enquiry form and one of our logistics representatives will get back to you.
  
  
• How Long Does it Take For the Shipment to Arrive?
  The average sail time for a vessel from the port of origin to the port of destination is approximately eight weeks. Additional time should be allowed from the time container leaves our warehouse for ramp/rail and to the port of origin for loading into the vessel. From our experience it always takes about 5 days. At the port of destination, ample time of about 10 days should be given for clearing and handling. Refer to our Shipment Schedule page for more details.
  
  
• Does the weight matter?
  No, weight is not a factor when it comes to shipping via ocean. The allowance for a container is about 40tons and hence its nearly impossible for packages to hit the target mark.
  
  
• Do you Ship household for people returning home?
  Yes. We have shipped household items to many customers who are returning to Kenya. To get an estimate complete and submit the shipping enquiry form and provide as much details as possible with the items to be shipped. This service has benefited to customers living within Kansas City are. Sometimes, it requires us to make an appointment and pay a visit to the customers residence to view the items and give a more precise quote.
  
  
• How does the recipient get the items?
  Our representatives in Kenya usually contacts the recipients via the phone which is normally provided by the sender in North America. Items are usually delivered at our warehouse in industrial area where the recipients pick them up?
  
  
• Do you offer shipment pick-up?
  Yes, we offer Free pick ups within Kansas City area. We have arranged pick-ups from Dallas and Wichita on regular basis. Items can also be delivered to our warehouse which is located at a convenient location off 71N HWY and 75th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
  
  
• Do you have delivery service and if you do how much does it cost?
  Yes, this is one of our new services that we are currently offering to shipments destined for Nairobi and the suburbs. Additional handling and delivery service is required which either be paid in the US or in Kenya. The fee is approx $20 per box. Multiple shipment discount is available
  
  
• Who pays for Custom Fees?
  The amount quoted includes taking care of custom fees. Therefore no other fees will be requested unless on special occasion that has previously been address before shipping the item(s)
