How much does it cost?

For regular sized items, rates can be generated from our automated rate quote generator. Rates vary from origin location and on the proximity/availability of our agents or drop off location. For the locations that we do not have agents, rates may vary based on the size and quantity of the shipment.

Who pays for the destination custom taxes?

The amount billed is all inclusive and does include all taxes and duties and destination. In cases where the shipment may require registration, overseas inspection, and log books/titles, additional charges may accrue but will be addressed prior to shipping.

Do you have destination delivery services?

Yes, we do have this facility in place. Charges are based on size, quantity, and delivery location. In most cases, we partner with courier services to render the destination delivery. A waybill will be provided for this service to enable tracing of cargo from our warehouse to the destination.

Do you offer shipment pick up?

Yes, we offer FREE pick-ups within the Kansas City area. We have arranged pick-ups from areas that we have agents. Items can also be delivered to our warehouse which is located at a convenient location off 71N HWY and 75th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.

How does the recipient get the items?

Our representatives in Kenya usually contact the recipients via phone/text as soon as the shipment is available for pick up from our warehouse. Our warehouse in Nairobi is located along Mombasa road opposite Syokimau train station, and five minutes from the JKIA airport.

Do you offer one-way shipping services?

This service is available. For customer within regions where we have agents, we schedule a visit to evaluate the items and give a quote. For customers from other locations, we schedule a conference/video call for a virtual walkthrough of the items and shipment quotation.

Does weight matter?

For ocean cargo services, weight DOES NOT matter, volume matters. For Air cargo services, both weight and volume matter. Rates on both services are available online.

How long does it take?

  • For the Ocean Cargo Transportation, it takes approximately 2.5 months from the time of shipment departure from our consolidation and loading location. Once shipped out, a tracking number is generated and sent via text and email.
  • For Air Cargo Service, the transit time is approximately 7-10 business days from the Cargo departure at our consolidation hub in Kansas City. With this service, a tracking number is generated and sent via text and email as soon as the shipment departs.

Do you offer Insurance Services?

Yes, we do have optional insurance coverage which is based on 5% of the declared value.

Are there possible delays?

Yes, delays can occur resulting from various reasons such as bad weather, equipment malfunction, transshipment delays, origin customs holds, origin inspection, destination customs, among others. These delays are beyond our control. However, we make every effort to communicate to affected customers as well as keeping our tracking system updated.
